Notes

The Coppers and Argus all looked freshly-emerged. The Peacock was dead, probably bounced off a car. NB most of the butterflies were seen around a large, open-access field, between Brandon Lane, the pub and the spa. Good mixed habitat with scrubby grass edge, then you can go on through woodland and back along the spa's drive
