Notes

Please note, the Small Copper is a bit dubious - I didn't get a good look. But size and flight-behaviour were right, and colouring looked right. I'm somewhere between 75 and 90% sure in my own mind. (The park's a good area for them. My last 2016 sighting was 2nd Oct, just before the grass was cut. Can they overwinter as adults?) I'll leave it up to you to decide if it counts. Anyway, mustn't be greedy - personal First Sightings for the year of Holly Blue, Speckled Wood, Small White and Orange-Tip today!
